Olive Egger
Update: We will only be offering Lavender Olive Eggers for the 2018/19 breeding season.
Olive Eggers lay a green colored egg, the egg color shade seems to vary per hen/generation and the shade becomes darker each generation. In 2018/19 we will only be offering 1st & 2nd generation Lavender Olive Egger chicks. This popular hybrid is becoming very sought after not only to add color to the egg basket, they are hardy, easy to raise, and generally docile. This is a perfect starter breed for the poultry novice to expert.

Lavender Olive Eggers
We are excited to release our new line of Lavender Olive Eggers!! Chicks will be very limited in 2017. We will be working toward growing a larger flock to be able to offer more in 2018!
Chicks from this pen will be Lavender or self-blue in pure form that breeds true.
We are currently running "our line" of French Lavender Marans roosters over Lavender Ameraucana hens. The chicks produced from this mating are a pure form a Lavender that will breed true. Please Note: Chicks from this cross are a hybrid, they may or may not have beards, tuffs, pea comb or feathered shanks. Some will, and some won't. It will just depend on which parent they take after. Also, although the Olive Egger is bred to produce green eggs, rarely a hen may produce brown eggs.
